Southside Baptist Church Events

Come join in the fun on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist.  We will be enjoying pizza and an ice cream treat.  Bring your appetite.

Youth (Grades 6th – 12th), Join us for an afternoon of fun playing pickleball on Sunday, July 27th at 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Use your night off to get prepared for your first day of school tomorrow.  We pray you have an awesome first day.  See you next Wednesday!

Get ready for a night full of fun at the second annual Griffin Stampede Pro Rodeo.  It will be at Union Baptist Church at 1405 N McDonough Rd in Griffin on Friday, August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.

Come join us for a night full of family fun on Wednesday, August 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM including a church wide picnic, homemade ice cream contest and games for the youth and kids.  

We are excited to celebrate Southside’s 70th Anniversary this year!!!  We will have a Homecoming service and activities on Sunday, August 17th.  We would love for you to be a part of celebrating what God has done at Southside Baptist over the past 70 years.  Dr. Mark Sellers will be our guest speaker and Danny Riordan will be leading the music.  After a delicious meal, “Higher Hope” will be singing for us.
