Southside Baptist Church Events

Donations can be given toward the remodel of our Annex building.  Please be in prayer as to how much God would have you give as we remodel the building to be used by the Flint River Association as a hub of ministry and offices as well as a counseling center.  Donations can be given online and in person.

Men, come join us for time of prayer, fellowship and delicious breakfast food on Sunday, September 28th at 8:00 a.m. in the Southside Baptist Fellowship Hall.

Calling all Senior Adults age 50 and above, come be a part of a fun filled fellowship on Thursday, October 9th at 11:30 a.m.  Our theme will be the 50’s.  Come dressed in poodle skirts, blue jeans rolled up, white t-shirts or button down shirts, tennis shoes, bobby socks, pony tails, loafers, etc.  Our entertainment will feature “Touched by Grace” who will share songs from the 50’s.  More info to come.  

We will be serving our community at Rushton’s Hope Sunday Night meeting on Sunday, October 12th at 5:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church.  We will be serving a meal and leading them in worship.

Mark your calendar for a night of fun as we get together to pack the Christmas shoeboxes to be sent to children in need around the world on Saturday, October 18th at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Food and fun will be enjoyed by all as we enjoy our time together being the hands and feet of Jesus.  

Our annual church wide camping trip is Friday, November 14th through Sunday, November 16th.  We will enjoy games, meals and Bible Study together during this fun filled weekend.  There are rv/tent sites available and 1 cabin is still available.  If you are not able to come for the entire weekend, you are welcome to join us at some point of the weekend for fellowship and/or a meal.  For more information, please contact Michelle Thompson at candmthompson@bellsouth.net.
