Southside Baptist Church Events

Come join us for a night of family fun on Saturday, October 31st from 6 to 8 pm. including “Trunk or Treat”, Games, Candy, food, SMORES and much more and it is all FREE!  

Ladies, join us for a transformative study rooted in devotion and grace.  We will be reading All of Me:  Pursuing a Life Wholly Devoted to God by Cheryl Marshall and discussing the chapers during the weekly sessions.  Sessions will be offered on Mondays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.  You can pick a time weekly that works better for your schedule.  

Ladies, join us our monthly WMU meeting on Thursday, November 5th at 11:30 a.m.  We will have a special guest speaker.  We will also work on our local mission project.  

The K.I.T. (Keep In Touch) Club for Senior Adults 50 and over will meet on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.

Our theme will be “Gobble Till You Wobble”.   

We will be providing rotisserie chicken and dressing for our meal.  Please bring your favorite sides and/or desserts to share. 

Our Entertainment will be “Family Feud” (Southern Style)!

Our annual Church Wide Camping Trip is Friday, November 13th to Sunday, November 15th at Oconee Springs Park in Eatonton, Georgia.  This will be a weekend full of fun, fellowship, games, delicious food, Sunday morning worship and Bible study time.

There are RV sites and 1 cabin remaining to reserve.  For more information contact Michelle Thompson at 678-343-8699.

Join us at our annual Church Wide Thanksgiving Meal on Sunday, November 22nd at 5:00 PM.  The church is providing turkey and dressing and the drinks for our meal. Please RSVP no later than Sunday, November 15th.

Please help us make our meal a HUGE success by bringing your favorite side items and desserts to share.

Ladies, mark your calendar:  Our annual Ladies Christmas Gathering will be Tuesday, December 15th at 6:00 PM.  More information to come.  

Donations can be given toward the remodel of our Annex building.  Please be in prayer as to how much God would have you give as we remodel the building to be used by the Flint River Association as a hub of ministry and offices as well as a counseling center.  Donations can be given online and in person.
