Southside Baptist Church Events

The K.I.T. (Keep In Touch) Club for Senior Adults will meet on Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

We are going to have a “New Year’s PARTY!!  We will be providing ham for the meal.  Please bring your favorite “New Year’s party dish”, drink and/or dessert to share.

We will have the opportunity to minister to Rushton’s Hope by providing a meal on Sunday, January 11th.  We will be serving fried chicken and will need people to provide macaroni and cheese, green beans and desserts.  Each person is only asked to provide enough of the dish for 10 people.  A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

There will be a men’s breakfast on Sunday, January 25th at 8:00 a.m.  All men of the church are invited!

We will begin our Community Groups on Sunday, February 1st.  We will be reading and discussing “Letters to the Church” by Francis Chan.  A signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the main hallway.  Books are available on Amazon for around $14.

Donations can be given toward the remodel of our Annex building.  Please be in prayer as to how much God would have you give as we remodel the building to be used by the Flint River Association as a hub of ministry and offices as well as a counseling center.  Donations can be given online and in person.
