KIT Club February Meeting
The K.I.T. (Keep In Touch) Club for Senior Adults (50 and over) will meet on Thursday, February 12th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
We will be celebrating Valentines Day. Our meal will be soups and sandwiches. Bring your favorite soup or sandwiches, sides and/or dessert to share.
Vernon and Donna Boswell will be entertaining us.

Men's Hiking Trip
Men, Join us for an exciting day of exploring Providence Canyon, Georgia’s Little Grand Canyon! Plans are to leave Southside at 7:00 a.m. and return by 5:30 p.m. Items needed and recommended: WATER, Small backpack to carry items, Light Snacks packed with protein
(Sugary snacks or food is not recommended)
Lunch, Wear Boots or Sturdy CLOSE-TOED Shoes
(No open-toe or soft sole shoes), Jacket
Sun screen, Folding camping chair.

Family Math Night
Southside presents Family Math Night on Wednesday, February 25th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Join us for a night of family fun including hands-on-math activities and supper for everyone. Please register to help us prepare for everyone. We are looking forward to having you and your family on this night of fun!

Annex Work Day
We will have a work day to begin demolition on the Annex Building (Future hub for the Flint River Baptist Association) on Saturday, February 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are assisting Southside from another church that is part of our Association, please register so we can better coordinate our work day.
If you have any of the following tools, please bring them: hammer saws, wheelbarrows, crowbars and gloves.

VBS Clinic/Training
Prepare for Vacation Bible School by attending this year’s VBS 2026 Training. This is the best way to develop your volunteer team, gain valuable training, network with others, and build momentum and excitement for your VBS. This training is designed to equip your church leadership and volunteers to create an excellent, safe, and effective VBS for your church and community. Whether you are using Lifeway’s ILLUMINATION STATION curriculum or another curriculum, this training is for you!

D-NOW Weekend (Youth)
Join us for an impactful weekend on Friday, March 13th to Sunday, March 15th as churches in our community gather together for worship, God’s Word, and genuine fellowship. This is for students 6th grade – 12th grade. Students will be staying in host homes. The payment for this event has already been covered.

Youth Hockey Game
The youth will be going to see a hockey game in Macon Ga. at the Macon Coliseum on Friday, March 20th. We will be leaving at 5:00 p.m. and should return at 11:00 p.m. Deadline to register is February 15th.

FRBA Building Remodel Donations
Donations can be given toward the remodel of our Annex building. Please be in prayer as to how much God would have you give as we remodel the building to be used by the Flint River Association as a hub of ministry and offices as well as a counseling center. Donations can be given online and in person.
