Southside Baptist Church Events

The K.I.T. (Keep In Touch) Club for Senior Adults will meet on Thursday, December 11th at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

We will provide the fried chicken for our meal.  Please bring your favorite Christmas food, drink and/or dessert to share.

Carla Cloud will be performing.  Her ministry, “A Gentle Witness”, seeks to breathe new life into the stories of Biblical women through dramatic presentation given in such a way that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are revealed to believers and non-believers alike.

On Sunday, December 14th at 5:00 p.m., our choir and drama will present the musical, “God Speaking”.

Following the program, we will fellowship with a light meal of soup and sandwiches.  Please sign up to bring your favorite soup or sandwiches.  Drinks will be provided.

Our Ladies Christmas Gathering will be on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:00 p.m. at Southside in the Activity Center.  The menu for this event will be Pork Loin, Glazed Carrots, Mashed Potatoes, Salad, Roll, Dessert and Drink.

Invite your friends and come for a time of good food, music and fellowship while we celebrate our Savior’s birth.  

The cost of this event is $20 per person.  Registration deadline is Monday, December 8th.

For this order, you have the opportunity to purchase your own shirt(s) in your choice of color and style (hoodie, short sleeve, long sleeve or sweatshirt).  After purchasing your shirt(s), please bring your shirt(s) and place it/them in bin in the foyer with your name on the back (tags will be provided).  Decals are only $5 each and will be applied to shirt(s) provided by you. Deadline for signing up for decals and bringing shirt(s) is December 19th.

On Sunday, December 21st at 5:00 p.m., our church family will be caroling to our shut ins.  If you would like to be a part of this fun event, please sign up on the sheet outside of the Activity Center.

If you and your family would like to prepare a gift basket of baked goods and other “goodies” to take as we carol to share at the place we carol, please sign up for that as well.

Donations can be given toward the remodel of our Annex building.  Please be in prayer as to how much God would have you give as we remodel the building to be used by the Flint River Association as a hub of ministry and offices as well as a counseling center.  Donations can be given online and in person.
