Do you have questions about Southside Griffin?

Come have breakfast with Pastor Brandon on Sunday, May 31st at 9:45–10:30am.  

He will answer questions about the different ministries, events and outings here at Southside. He will also go over the steps to join our Southside Family. 

Kids will journey to Illumination Station, where God’s truth lights the way in a world full of questions. Through exciting Bible lessons, music, games, and creative activities, children will discover that Jesus is the Light of the World and God’s Word shines with truth, clarity, and hope.

At Illumination Station, kids will learn how God’s light guides our lives, helps us understand His creation, and equips us to shine for Him wherever we go. Each day is packed with fun, faith, and discovery as we explore how God’s truth never fades and always points us in the right direction

Come from 5:30-9pm to see how God’s truth LIGHTS the way! Your children want to show you everything that GOD has brought to LIGHT at VBS 2026!

Ladies, come join us for our WMU Meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd at 11:30 a.m. in room 116.  We will be discussing upcoming mission projects.

Calling all Senior Adults:  Sign up to come along for a warm gathering with home-style meal, live entertainment (Susan Handley), door prizes and giveaways on Tuesday, June 2nd.

We will meet at Southside at 10:15 a.m. and leave at 10:30 a.m. to head to Community Church of Praise in Stockbridge.  The cost is $15 per person.  DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS SUNDAY, MAY 31ST.

The K.I.T. (Keep In Touch) Club for Senior Adults (50 and over) will meet on Thursday, June 11th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Our theme will be “Summer Time”. 

We will be providing spaghetti and lasagna for our meal. Please bring your favorite side item(s), drink and/or dessert to share.

Parson Road will be entertaining us.

Join us on Saturday, June 13th as we explore Cloudland Canyon to view Cherokee and Hemlock Falls.  Both falls are on the same trail and will take us about 2-1/2 hours to complete.  We will descend over 600 steps to reach the bottom, about 425 feet in 1 mile.

We plan to leave the church on Saturday, June 13th at 7:00 a.m. and return by 5:30 p.m.

Ready for an afternoon of FUN?  Come join us in fun and fellowship on Saturday, June 20th from 2 to 6 p.m.

RSVP by Sunday, June 14th.  

Join us for a refreshing time of fellowship and connection as we hike to Moss Falls at Camp Thunder in Molena, GA.  This easy, scenic walk is a great opportunity to step away from the busyness of life, enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and spend time with other women from the church and community.

All fitness levels are welcome–come as you are, bring a friend, and enjoy the journey together!

We plan to leave the church on Saturday, June 27th at 8:00 a.m. and return by 1:00 p.m.

Ladies, come join in the fun as we enjoy Christian fellowship as we are engaged in fitness and get our bodies moving.   On Thursdays, from 6 to 7 p.m., we will exercise and fellowship together.

Donations can be given toward the remodel of our Annex building.  Please be in prayer as to how much God would have you give as we remodel the building to be used by the Flint River Association as a hub of ministry and offices as well as a counseling center.  Donations can be given online and in person.
